Requirements for successful energy efficiency projects

Companies have to deal with the impact of climate change and adjust their strategies.

Climate protection companies give assistance to meet, accept and cope with the challenges but also identify the potentials. Their message and proposals are designed for all that intend to follow the path towards a sustainable future.

A triad of people, organization and technology is the primary key to success for planning and organization of energy efficiency projects. Within the frame of the project “climate protection wins" and in cooperation with the association “Klimaschutz-Unternehmen. Die Klimaschutz- und Energieeffizienzgruppe der Deutschen Wirtschaft e. V." the following film was made at the KSM Castings Group in Hildesheim. Here, the company shows a short abstract how climate protection is put into practice.

Since 2012, the KSM Castings Group is member of the association “Klimaschutz-Unternehmen. Die Klimaschutz- und Energieeffizienzgruppe der Deutschen Wirtschaft e. V." due to its excellent engagement in climate protection. Thus, the KSM Castings Group is the first foundry of this size that received the award “Klimaschutz-Unternehmen".

In 2013, the climate protection companies merged into the association “Klimaschutz-Unternehmen. Die Klimaschutz- und Energieeffizienzgruppe der Deutschen Wirtschaft e. V." As cross-industry association of German companies of all sizes, these climate protection companies show examples for optimized use of energy and climate protection. For this, they publish best practices and actively provide their expertise in politics, economy and society. The climate protection companies have officially stressed this demand in their self-conception and members of the association have voluntarily committed themselves for measurable and ambitious targets for climate protection and energy efficiency.
