Hildesheim, November 2019: KSM trainee Pascal Biewald is one of the best

The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) in Lower Saxony has honored the best trainees for their performances. At the KSM Castings Group in Hildesheim, Pascal Biewald has finished the dual training as technical model constructor in foundry technology. Not only did he make it among the 107 best in the region but he is also the best graduate in his trade.

„We are very proud of the excellent performances of our trainees, and, in particular, that Pascal Biewald made it among the best apprentices in the state. With this, he created the optimal starting conditions for his future professional development. At the same time, this is a great compliment for the quality of the training in our company, which is of special importance for us”, said Jörg Gustke, Head of Industrial Training at the KSM Castings Group in Hildesheim.

Dr. Horst Schrage, CEO of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Hannover fully agreed. He thanked all companies, vocational schools and their teachers for their contributions to these excellent training performances.

The award was granted to the best trainees of the member companies during a joint meeting of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Lower Saxony in the Weser Ems Halle in Oldenburg. From the catchment area of the IHK Hannover, 35 graduates were honored as best in the region. In order to be selected for the short list and invited, the up-and-coming specialists had to finish their training with the grade “very good”. In 2019, 107 young professionals reached this target, and 35 of them came from the area of the IHK Hannover.

In the catchment area of the IHK Lower Saxony, round about 29.800 young people successfully passed their exams in commercial and technical professions, including 11.300 trainees from the area of the IHK Hannover.
