KSM spendet 2.700 Euro für die Clinic Clowns Hannover e. V.

Hildesheim, June 2021: KSM donates 2,700 Euros to Clinic Clowns Hannover e. V.

Anyone who parks their vehicle in violation of the parking regulations at the KSM Castings Group site in Hildesheim might have to reach into their pockets. However, there is one consolation: All of the proceeds are put into a donation pot. This is emptied once per year, and the contents are donated for social projects or a good cause.

By suggestion of the works council and with the unanimous approval of the client, Clinic Clowns Hannover was chosen as this year’s recipient. The generous cheque for 2,700 Euros “put a smile on their painted faces”, said a delighted KSM Works Council Chairman Manuel Duarte, who handed over the cheque together with Dirk Fischer, Head of European Human Resources Management at KSM. On behalf of the clowns, Reinhold Bretall expressed his gratitude for the generous donation in his capacity as the contact and PR coordinator on the board of directors of the association.

Clinic-Clowns Hannover – including Antje Kilian (Sock) and Tania Klinger (Feodora) – have been the source of merriment and companionship in Hanover and the surrounding area for 20 years. They visit the children in hospital, make people laugh and bring them together. They show that there is room everywhere for laughter and joy with a great deal of sensitivity, empathy and feeling for human nature: with patients, parents and staff – and particularly among the children, since they are the main attraction in the circus ring of every hospital ward.
