January 2026, Nuremberg, EUROGUSS 2026:
KSM Castings Group invests in challenging market environment and strengthens partnership with ItalPresseGaus
At EUROGUSS 2026, the KSM Castings Group announced its investment in three new die cast cells, sending a clear signal of economic strength and future orientation. While many competitors are currently facing insolvencies and investment freezes, KSM is continuing to invest in modern technologies and expand its production capacities. At the same time, the company is reaffirming its partnership with ItalPresseGaus (IPG), which has existed for around 30 years.
EUROGUSS 2026 was extremely successful for KSM. In addition to intensive discussions with customers and partners, new contacts were made and existing business relationships were further intensified. The decision to invest in the new IPG die-cast cells underlines the financial stability of the KSM Castings Group – and its ambition to not only respond, but also actively shape a challenging market environment.
KSM has been relying on IPG‘s die-casting technology since the end of the 1990s. More than 40 IPG machines are now in use in the KSM Group worldwide. The continuous investments represent a clear commitment to high process reliability, efficiency and quality in series production.
The technological strengths of the HPDC cells, including modern process control, high repeat accuracy, minimal downtimes and a robust design for continuous industrial operation, were decisive in the renewed decision in favor of IPG. With the three new plants, KSM is specifically strengthening its technological base and creating the conditions for further growth and stability.
The long-standing cooperation with ItalPresseGaus exemplifies the strategic approach of the KSM Castings Group: To invest consistently in economically challenging times, to drive innovation and to be a reliable partner for customers worldwide.
