Hildesheim, October 2022:
Excellence in Professional Training Award
KSM is recognized as one of the ‘Germany’s Best Professional Training Providers’
KSM Castings Group has been recognized by CAPITAL and Ausbildung.de as one of the ‘Germany‘s Best Professional Training Providers 2022’.
In spring 2022, KSM participated in the ‘Germany‘s Best Professional Training Provider 2022’ survey conducted by the CAPITAL business magazine together with the Ausbildung.de talent platform. The team of trainers led by Mr. Jörg Gustke answered more than 90 questions from the survey catalog in spring 2022. The results have now been evaluated and the Hildesheim training facility has scored four out of five stars – both in the professional training and the dual studies fields. According to the CAPITAL, more than 750 companies took part in the survey, including DAX-listed corporations, public authorities, SMEs and craft enterprises.
„We’re extremely proud to have received the ‘Germany‘s Best Professional Training Provider 2022’ award, which isn’t something that happens by accident and wouldn’t have been possible without a supportive team. We would like to give credit and extend our gratitude to all those involved, especially our training officers, for their daily commitment in working with our trainees,“ says Jörg Gustke, „even though there’s still more that we could be doing in some areas, this is obviously a huge honor.“ At KSM‘s three German locations in Hildesheim, Wernigerode and Bergisches Land, three full-time trainers are currently training a total of 74 trainees/apprentices, including mechatronics engineers, electronics engineers, toolmakers, industrial and foundry mechanics as well as industrial clerks.
Anyone interested could get a real insight into the training and apprenticeship facility routine at KSM: On the day of the Open Training Workshop from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023 in Hildesheim – including show casting! Those living in the Bergisches Land region may want to visit the Open Day at the Vocational Training Center for Industry (BZI) in Remscheid on November 4th and 5th, 2022 with 45 training/apprenticeship centers and facilities offering 100 training/apprenticeship opportunities to its visitors. We also offer great dual degree opportunities in Production Technology, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering, and Business Information Technology.
The detailed results of the survey and the complete list of short-listed companies will be featured in the upcoming October issue of the CAPITAL. In addition, the results are available online at www.capital.de/beste-ausbilder.
The survey was prompted by the shortage of personnel or skilled workers in Germany. Both of these factors cause the professional training providers to offer career opportunities to retain their junior staff, which is supported by the survey findings. Most of the participating companies also stated that they held early interviews about job opportunities upon completion of the training courses. The majority of employers offer further training opportunities for those who choose willing to pursue further studies after the apprenticeship. This trend is supported by the training instructors interviewed by the CAPITAL. Detailed analyses can be found at capital.de/Beste-Ausbilder.
